Are g shock watches nerdy?

   i used to have really nice watch. i would wear it to work. i work in a ship yard. my watch was destroyed while i was wearing it. the really sad part is that i was a crane operator at the time. strange huh? now i wear a big bulky g-shock watch. i have it for years and i haven't had any problems with it. it's taken a beating but it works great. i always know what time it is. how convenient. in summation: g-shock + pencil pusher= nerd. g-shock+ real man job= real man who knows what time it is.

   I think they can be ok. I usually don't associate them with nerdy,but I don't necessarily think they're "cool" either.
